Lars Christensen

Deputy Chairman of the Board

Lars joined Pharmacosmos in 1977 and has held leading positions in the company throughout his career, serving as CEO from 1994 to 2022.

During his many years with Pharmacosmos, Lars played a pivotal role in the discovery, development and formulation of new generations of intravenous iron products. He was closely involved in building Pharmacosmos from a small API supplier into a fully integrated global pharmaceutical company, with a strong focus on science, quality and manufacturing.

After stepping down as CEO in 2022, Lars continues as Senior Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pharmacosmos.
